Custom Carving

The Torah Ark is the focal point in any synagogue. Custom Carving understands the importance of creating an ark that is dignified and inspiring. Aron Kodeshes can be built in a simple and elegant style, emphasizing the form and beauty of the materials, or they can be as elaborate as the descriptions of the mishkan (tabernacle that housed the Ten Commandments) for which the Aron Kodesh now fills the role. Options include carved doors, carved frames, Jerusalem stone accents and bases, curved back, crowns above, built in glass Ner Tamid, a parochet (curtain), or wheels and other options for portability. Drawers and shelves can be built into the base. The ark can rest on elegant legs, or be hung from above.

With over twelve years of professional experience in interior carpentry, carving and furniture; as well as advanced training in glass and design at the Bezalel Academy for Art and Design in Jerusalem all the work that Gabriel produces will indeed meet your needs and continue to inspire for generations. From individual pieces of furniture to built in carpentry, all the work is produced with the highest quality materials, tools, and craftsmen.
