Solid wood and Glass Chess Board

This Chess Board is made from solid wood over 10mm thick and finished with an extremely durable laquer. Old growth yellow cedar and dark walnut have been arranged in the checker pattern according to their grain pattern and set in a cherrywood finger-joined frame. The chess pieces have been handblown in pyrex glass, the most durable in the world (but if one still were to break- we could always make a replacement). The patterns of the wood come right throught the shape of the pieces. A truely remarkable set. Please call for availability and pricing.
