Custom Made Eternal Light

Each Hanging Eternal Light is one of a kind, made by hand with unique techniques by artist Gabriel Bass at the Custom Carving Studios. Blown Glass is produced in the hotshop or on the torch, often blown into original wooden moulds also made in the studio. The wooden bases are lathe turned from locally harvested and carefully cured Israeli Olivewood (some of which up to 1000 years old), tight-grained Cypress, or wild-grained African Walnut, then carved, painted, gold guilded, finished with high quality laquer and fitted with borocilicate glass inlays or beads made to suit each piece. The above are examples of custom Ner Tamids which have been commissioned by various congregations and synagogues around the world, including: Israel, North America, England, France, Peru, and Uganda. We work meticulously with each client to design and produce a Ner Tamid that best suits their space, colors, style, and budget.
