Custom Carving

The Torah holds the highest importance to the Jewish people. To show honor the scolls are traditionally adorned with a Breastplate and Rimmonim, crowns placed upon the spindles. The Yad, Torah Pointer, is used to read from the torah to honor the hand written words. The Talmud teaches that we should not make Torah ornaments from any material that could be used to make an instrument of war. Custom carving offers some of the only Torah ornaments made from wood, which radiate a much warmer atmosphere than its metal counterpart. The congregation blesses the Torah in prayer, "It is a tree of life for those who hold fast to it."

With over twelve years of professional experience in interior carpentry, carving and furniture; as well as advanced training in glass and design at the Bezalel Academy for Art and Design in Jerusalem all the work that Gabriel produces will indeed meet your needs and continue to inspire for generations. From individual pieces of furniture to built in carpentry, all the work is produced with the highest quality materials, tools, and craftsmen. Our clients choose from a variety of hard and soft woods, Jerusalem stone, and glass. We provide sketches and updates throughout the design process. All inquiries welcome.
